A unique culinary journey in the heart of Lapland's fells.

Our menus change seasonally to reflect the flavours of Lapland throughout the year.

In November, Aihki is open from Monday to Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering a 4-course and a 6-Course Chef’s Menu.

We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements with advance notice. We ask that guests arrive 15 minutes before dinner time.

Culinary

Signature 6-Course Chef’s Menu - 116€ / Guest

Reservation required 24 hours in advance

Our six-course Signature Menu captures the core of Aihki’s kitchen. The experience begins with small, carefully prepared amuse-bouches and continues through dishes built around seasonal flavours from the northern region. The menu ends with handcrafted petit fours. This menu is ideal for guests who want to enjoy Aihki in its most complete form.
4-Course Daily Chef’s Menu - 85€ / Guest

Our Daily Chef’s Menu is a four-course take on the same seasonal ingredients that inspire our Signature Menu. The experience begins with a small amuse-bouche and ends with petit fours. It is a well-balanced menu that highlights the flavours of the day and the season.

Walk-in guests are welcome to ask for the menu. Availability depends on how full the restaurant is at that moment, so a table cannot be guaranteed without a reservation.

Wine Pairings to Complete the Dinner Experience

At Aihki, wines are chosen to harmonize with the day’s menu, enhancing flavors and creating a seamless journey across every course.

  • Classic Wine Package (4 wines): 83€ / Guest / Available for 4- and 6-course menus.
  • Signature Wine Package (6 wines): 109€ / Guest / Perfect companion to our 6-course experience.

Our wine cellar, built in 2020, is a carefully curated collection of classics and rare finds, serving as both inspiration for our pairings and a treasure trove for guests who wish to explore further.

Special Requests & Dietary Preferences

We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs with prior notice. Vegan and dairy-free guests can enjoy a dedicated 3-course vegan menu, complete with thoughtfully paired wines from our cellar.

Where culture and cuisine go hand in hand

Finland’s top restaurants

Restaurant Aihki has twice been featured on Kauppalehti Optio’s list of Finland’s top restaurants (2022 & 2023), earning an impressive 16+ rating. This recognition reflects the uncompromising vision of our Head Chef Anssi Riihimäki, whose dishes are both visually stunning and deeply rooted in local ingredients.

Anssi has shaped Aihki’s culinary philosophy by combining responsibility, Lapland’s pure natural ingredients, and the precision of modern Nordic cuisine.

We offer guided tastings where European wines are paired with Nordic-inspired bites, creating a relaxed and insightful pause in your Arctic journey.

In addition to our main restaurant, Aihki, Sunday Morning Resort features a lakeside Kota hut, where we serve traditional Lappish delicacies by the warmth of an open fire. The Kota seats up to 18 guests and is available for private bookings.

We want to keep the North pristine

Nature is considered at every step through our sustainability programme. At Aihki, every dish is crafted with respect for the environment: we source ingredients locally, grow our own vegetables, and forage wild foods from the nearby forests.

Both Restaurant Aihki and Sunday Morning Resort are carbon neutral. We use a highly efficient heating system and maintain a six-hectare private forest that functions as our carbon sink. All waste is recycled, and biodegradable waste is composted on-site. The resulting compost nourishes our potato patch and vegetable garden, where we use only organic fertilizers. To minimise transport emissions, we rely on durable, high-quality textiles that are washed in-house.
